Boys and Girls Club
I guess that I feel generally flexible about how I want to spend my time with the Boys and Girls Club. Frankly, I'm not that opinionated about and just want to get to know some kids. I don't lean to any extremes in what we've discussed--I feel like our activities shouldn't be too structured, but I also don't want it to be chaotic. I think talking to Daniel should really help us get a better feel for what the kids will want to do, whether they prefer scheduled activities or not. I am also pretty all right with going by myself, in small group, or with the entire cohort. Realistically, I think smaller groups (maybe 3-5 of us) would work best. That way we would be motivated to go, but not overwhelmed with fitting everyone's schedule in. More than anything, I want to make friends with some kids and just get to know them while hopefully being a "good influence" on them.
